Project: ( School assignment ) Food and drink magazine
Details: Most food magazines i have found are either very clearly directed at women or they look very cheap and cluttered. (As a designer with a love for the more masculine style, this frustrated me to the core.) For this magazine I collected inspiration from the many cookbooks I have at home and combined their design with my personal style and created a more masculine looking food magazine. The colors are strong but a bit muted to stand out but still be comfortable to your eyes. These are also gender neutral colors that and match the color in the photos. I wanted the design to be strict but still playful, airy but not too empty.
