Project: ( School assignment ) Book cover design for Charles Perrault's Cinderella (the 'original' story).
Details: As this story is a much darker version than the happily ever after Disney version most are used to but is still full of magic I opted for a dark blue and purple color scheme. The purple cloud in the background created that sense of mystery and magic and to create recognition and connect to the story I created illustrations of the carriage and the castle. The corner illustrations were inspired by the pumpkin branches and they help tp bring the attention to the center of the book as they frame the content. The fonts
Apart from the book cover design I also had to create the logo for the made up publisher, as this was only a fictional assignment.
